The Man Who Came to the Harbor Festival
Synopsis
A traveling troupe arrives in a lively southern port town during the Tanabata festival, led by the mysterious swordsman DaigorÅ, whose incredible skill quickly makes him a local sensation. Beneath his fierce persona, however, he hides a tragic past: he is actually HikÅichi, a fisherman who lost his beloved OyÅ« to a cruel feudal lord years earlier. Reunited during the festival under the stars of Tanabata, the two lovers attempt to reclaim their happiness, but the lordâs jealousy and deception lead them toward a heartbreaking fate.
