Medhat El Adl
Biography
Medhat Tawfeek al-Adl was born Mansoura (Delta of Egypt) in 1951. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in 1981 and worked for two years as a doctor. He started his career in art in the mid 1980âs when he wrote the lyrics of a number of songs of Amr Diabâs film âIce cream fi Gleemâ for which he wrote the dialogue. He also wrote the dialogue of a big number of films; âAmrika shikabikaâ, âHarb al-farawlaâ, âQeshr al-bondokâ, âSaeedy fel-gameâa al-Amrikeyyaâ, âShort we fanella we capâ, âWalad we bentâ and âAl-dealerâ. Medhat also prepared the script of a number of TV series; âMahmoud al-Masry, âAl-andaleebâ, and âKessat hobbâ.
